 The CAT 740 articulated truck is commonly used in open-pit mines, infrastructure projects and heavy earth and rock transportation. In the harsh conditions of mines and quarries , the fully loaded weight of the vehicle can exceed 70 tons . The overweight load places extremely high demands on the rim bearing capacity.
Complex road conditions such as rugged mountainous terrain, soft soil, and slippery environments can easily cause impact and rim deformation. Coupled with the long-term, high-intensity continuous operation of vehicles , the rims must have excellent fatigue resistance.
Traction is one of the few companies in China that offers a complete production chain for wheel rims , from steel to finished product . Using independently developed high-strength wheel rim steel , Traction implements strict control at every stage of the production process. From steel rolling, inner and outer rim processing, to welding and painting, every step ensures the precision and reliability of the wheel rims. This not only ensures product consistency and reliability, but also significantly improves production efficiency and cost control.
The 25.00-25/3.5 rim is designed with a 5PC multi-piece structure. The lock ring cooperates with the bead seat to ensure that the tire is not easily unseated under low pressure, impact or heavy load conditions . It also facilitates the installation and removal of large-size tubeless tires, and is easy to assemble and maintain . It does not require expensive special pressing equipment and has high maintenance efficiency.
The 25.00-25/3.5 rim is a large-size multi-piece Otr Rim designed for heavy-duty construction machinery. It features high strength, impact resistance, and easy maintenance. It is a key component for articulated trucks such as the CAT 740.
