The 8.50-20/1.7 is an engineering machinery rim specification widely utilized in Underground Mining Vehicles. It is primarily employed on underground haul trucks, Load-Haul-Dump (LHD) loaders, underground service vehicles, and various underground auxiliary equipment. This specification strikes a balance between load-bearing capacity, impact resistance, and adaptability to the complex operating conditions found underground; it is one of the most common small-to-medium-sized OTR (Off-the-Road) rim specifications found on underground mining machinery.
Its moderate rim width provides excellent tread support, ensures more stable tire mounting, facilitates better load distribution, and enhances adaptability to diverse operating environments.
